Pocket Theatre is a practice studio located in Villard Hall near the northeast end of campus

The Pocket Theatre is an open venue for any and every student at the University of Oregon It is run by students, for students, and almost all productions that make there way beyond these walls are originals.  Roughly each quarter, 4-6 shows are produced, leaving plenty of opportunities for students to pursue their artistic vision in the Art of Theatre.

With around 500 majors and 30 graduate students, UO’s Art department is undoubtedly a community that focuses on teaching its students how to express themselves creatively and effectively.  Millrace has become a focal point of that goal, offering a professional setting/workplace for both graduate and undergraduate students.

The Department of Dance is located inside Gerlinger Annex and contains four dance studios ,a media/technology suite, and The M. Frances Dougherty Dance Theatre (DDT) which seats up to 225 people.

Lawrence Hall is home to UO’s school of Architecture and Allied Arts.

Founded by Ellis F. Lawrence in 1914, Lawrence Hall offers the only accredited degree in architecture, landscape architecture, and interior architecture in the state of Oregon.

The craft center at the UO offers a comprehensive art program that is open to students, alumni, and even members of the Eugene community.

Well equipped studios offer anyone who is interested in art a chance to learn and practice the skill of their choice.  Workshops range from, woodworking, glass blowing, ceramics, photography, and much more.
