Wjchat conversations are scheduled for every Wednesday at 5 p.m. In the #wjchat room, three questions were tweeted that sparked a conversation about social media. The three questions were:
There were a lot of great responses to these question from a lot of different people. I would definitely participate in another tweet chat again. I enjoyed reading what others had to say about social media and it was fun to participate and receive feedback as well. Anyone is able to tweet whatever they feel about journalism topics and it takes a couple of seconds for your response to be posted in the chat room. Tweet chat is a good way to bring journalists together and talk about common interests. I definitely recommend this to people who love to tweet, love journalism, and who love to chat about their interests with others. If you like to write and think that gathering items from around the Web, such as tweets and images, would be fun to create your own story and have your friends participate, check out Storify.com! It is a great way to start blogging yourself!
