Free and Cheap Portland

In a world where the status of the economy keeps us pinching our pennies, I think that it is safe to say that everyone enjoys a day of free or cheap entertainment.  With that said, Portlanders make it easy for locals to find community oriented events that won’t leave them clenching their wallets.  From music festivals to financial planning days, there is something for everyone to get out, have fun, out and get involved in their communities.

Dave Knows Portland is a guide created by Dave, the Portland native, who makes it his duty to blog about up and coming events in Portland that will indeed be free or cheap.

Knipe Realty is dedicated to providing information on real estate and lifestyle in the northwest.  KR offers a variety of summer events happening in Portland that will keep their clientele happy, as well as the general public.

Portland on the Cheap is a blog with some good input on some things to do in the Portland area.  This site has something for people of all ages with a specific link to a PDX KIDS event calender.

Portland Neighborhood is a website that does more than just allow you to go through a list of upcoming events in Portland, but also serves as a social network so that you can get to know the fellow members of the Portland community.

Around the Sun is strictly about saving you money in Portland.  This site will guide you to local deals that will give you an array of things to do, and keep some spare change in your pocket at the same time.
