Bicycle Beat Blog Post 2— Tweeting about Bikes

Twitter can be a great place to connect with other people who share similar interests and hobbies as yourself. I live in Eugene, Oregon, which has a huge bike culture. Many of the residents, including myself, commute by bike on a daily basis. Therefore, I was curious what the members of Twitter had to say about bicycles.

This is a small sample of the dozens and dozens of people I found who are tweeting about bicycles and cycling.

1) Please Cycle provides organizations with the products and services needed to encourage cycling within the workplace.

2) Bruce Weber is a writer for the New York Times. He is currently cycling around the U.S. and tweeting his experiences from his bike seat. Weber has been doing this since July 17.

3) When I think of bicycles and cycling, one person in particular comes to mind. Lance Armstrong. This is his official Twitter page.

4) Chris Horner is a professional cyclist on Team RadioShack and tweets about his racing experiences, both on and off the track.
