Country Music Tweeters

Every day, something new happens in the world of country music and someone needs to responsible for sharing this information. There just so happens to be tweeters of country music on Twitter who constantly update their tweets with country music news. Here is a list of five country music tweeters…

Country Music Television (CMT) is a well-known television network that features programs for country music lovers.  The network was launched on March 5, 1983 and has continued to offer music videos, movies, biographies o country stars, taped concerts and reality television.

Rascal Flatts is country music band composed of Gary LeVox on lead vocals, Jay DeMarcus on bass guitar, keyboard and piano and Joe Don Rooney on lead guitar. The band began in early 2000 and debuted with their first single “Prayin’ for Daylight”.  Since then, the group has released eight albums and been a part of 11 tours. The band has also released 11 U.S Country number one singes including “These Days”, “Fast Cars and Freedom” and “Why Wait”.

Kellie Pickler, who began her career on the Fox reality show American Idol, is a growing country music star who also uses Twitter to communicate with her fans. Pickler released her first single “Red High Heels” on September 13, 2006 and the song received a nomination for the CMT Video Awards “Breakthrough Video of the Year”.

Miranda Lambert is an American country music star who began her career on the television show Nashville Star. She released her first album, Kerosene, in 2005 which included the song “Me and Charlie Talking”.  This album won the 2006 CMT Music Awards “Breakthrough Video of the Year”. She has also won multiple awards including the 2011 Academy of Country Music “Top Female Vocalist of the Year”.

Reba McEntire is known as an American country music singer as well as an actress. In early 1976 she released her first single “I Don’t Want to Be a One Night Stand”. Reba received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has created 42 albums that include studio, holiday, live and compilation albums.  From 2001-2007 to she had her own hit show “Reba”.
