My work on the enterprise story has definitely slowed down over the past week, as research papers and equally stressful schoolwork have flown by. However, I’ve still been able to squeeze in some interviews and general research on my topic.
Last week, I talked to a professor from OSU who is involved with the Lane Extension Service, providing gardening advice to local organizations. He provided a great angle on the necessity for personal urban farming and how he has been involved with the process in Eugene, as well as the Whiteaker.
Coincidentally, we’re going over urban gardening practices in my environmental literature class, so I’ve taken a great deal of information from various readings we’ve been talking about.
I’m feeling confident about the amount of information and interviews I’ve accumulated, and will hopefully be able to piece it all together by the weekend.
