Here’s the homework!
- Of course, you should be studying for the MIDTERM: 15 short-answers worth 2 points apiece, like the example post; 4 short essays (5 points apiece) about journalism in the digital age, using the Internet and URLs; 20-point AP Style Quiz [A-Z]; 30-point go-out-with-neighborhood-group-and-do-news-story piece.
- Media analysis due Sunday by 11:59 p.m.: Find a long narrative story, using the Twitter account @longreads, and analyze how the author wrote the story
- Neighborhood blog post, due Monday by 11:59 p.m.: Either a restaurant/cafe/bar story/review or a review of a band playing in a neighborhood venue
