Neighborhood: Enterprise Story Process

I changed my mind and stop dealing with economical issues in Southeast Eugene, but I begun to discuss the development and environment problems in the area. This is because I reminded that I heard some economical concerns from citizens when I went around Southeast Eugene. And I think this is the most important and interesting issue here.

So far, I tried to give interview those people who have discussed the problem such Betty Taylor, a vice president of Eugene City Council, Philip Richardson, a landscape architect parks and open space, and Lisa Warnes, a vice president of Southeast Eugene Neighborhood. I successfully contact them by e-mail, but I know I have to meet them face-to-face and give in-person interview. It would be more helpful to make my knowledge developed.

I feel myself that it is important for me to know basic information about the topic before interview with those people. Otherwise, the result of the interviews will not be effective to develop my Enterprise Story. I have already read several articles about the process of discussion environment issues. Unlike straight news, when we would deal with enterprise, investigative, or feature stories, I’m sure that we should have fundamental understandings about the issue so that I can make question lists.

I am going to give interview with those city council and representative people in this week, I may have to visit their office during the daytime. Overall, my enterprise story is alright, but I’m still confused about sidebars. Do I need something special here?
