Greetings!
I am a junior working on a double major in Journalism and Cinema Studies. Documentary film is my ultimate destination, but great stories are told in many different forms — so I also look forward to working in radio (perhaps for This American Life or RadioLab), print of all varieties (especially literary non-fiction) and whatever new platforms develop during my career.
Outside of campus I enjoy a pretty simple life: mostly my wonderful partner Bradley and our two pets. Raleigh is a chihuahua/terrier mix with so much charm he is destined to become a YouTube star. Charlie is our young and rambunctious Flame-point Siamese.
I love the outdoors and spend as much time as I can absorbing the scope of our planet’s earthly beauty. I hope to someday capture the wisdom that nature has to offer and share it with others. Werner Herzog has created some breath-taking documentaries about the natural world; I look to his films for inspiration and the motivation to persevere in the often cut-throat world of today’s media.
